A top price for Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas - as previously expected
In October 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction NINETEENTH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work Cows in a sunlit riverlandscape; Cows in a meadow by Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 14,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 14,340.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Cows in a sunlit riverlandscape; Cows in a meadow is the most expensive artwork by Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion NINETEENTH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cows in a sunlit riverlandscape; Cows in a meadow von Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 14.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 14.340,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Cows in a sunlit riverlandscape; Cows in a meadow das teuerste Kunstwerk von Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
