Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Collecting the catch at low tide by Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek was sold in the Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 10,625.00. Admittedly, works by Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bringing In The Catch in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 90,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Collecting the catch at low tide von Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 10.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bringing In The Catch im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 90.000,00.
