Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters& 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism., which included the work Children Watching A Shellfisher In The Dunes; And Children Watching Two Fishermen At Work By A House by Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,625.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bringing In The Catch in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 90,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters& 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Children Watching A Shellfisher In The Dunes; And Children Watching Two Fishermen At Work By A House von Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.625,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Hermanus Barend Koekkoek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bringing In The Catch im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 90.000,00.
