Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Grenness auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with fruit and flowers im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.000,00 (€ 2.621,92).
