Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of Lauritz Eduard Sveinbjörnsson (1834–1910) by Johannes Grenness for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 1,747.95). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 4,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Other works by Johannes Grenness have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2024 by the work Still life with fruit and flowers at DKK 3,000.00 (€ 2,621.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of Lauritz Eduard Sveinbjörnsson (1834–1910) von Johannes Grenness für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 1.747,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 4.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Johannes Grenness wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Januar 2024 die Arbeit Still life with fruit and flowers mit DKK 3.000,00 (€ 2.621,92).
