Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A horse-drawn cart in a busy sunlit street; and Figures along a canal in summer by Johannes Franciscus Spohler was sold in the The Decorative Arts Sale, incl. Fine Paintings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2012. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Franciscus Spohler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A busy town in winter; and Gentlemen by an Amsterdam canal in summer in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 62,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A horse-drawn cart in a busy sunlit street; and Figures along a canal in summer von Johannes Franciscus Spohler wurde im Juni 2012 in der Auktion The Decorative Arts Sale, incl.
