The work “Havpige med fisk og musling” (Mermaid with fish and clam shell) by Johannes Clausen Bjerg was sold in the Modern paintings, sculptures and prints auction at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year. The result of DKK 150,000.00 (€ 20,137.36) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johannes Clausen Bjerg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Pan på trekantet plint” (Pan on triangular plinth), 1919, which sold at auction in March this year for DKK 500,000.00 (€ 67,098.97).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit “Havpige med fisk og musling” (Mermaid with fish and clam shell) von Johannes Clausen Bjerg wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern paintings, sculptures and prints bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 150.000,00 (€ 20.137,36) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Johannes Clausen Bjerg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Pan på trekantet plint” (Pan on triangular plinth), 1919 beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für DKK 500.000,00 (€ 67.098,97) versteigert wurde.
