Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Johannes Boesen could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in May this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work “Fra Svejbæk” (From Svejbæk) changed hands for DKK 1,000.00 (€ 134.22) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Boesen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Faggot Gatherer on a Country Lane in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 19,120.00 (€ 15,000.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johannes Boesen konnte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit “Fra Svejbæk” (From Svejbæk) für DKK 1.000,00 (€ 134,22) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Boesen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Faggot Gatherer on a Country Lane im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.120,00 (€ 15.000,78).
