The work English men-o'war and other shipping in a swell off Flushing by Johann van der Hagen was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2003. The price achieved of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,373.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00.
