This artwork by Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Geneva in December 2008. In the Swiss Art auction, the work Neapel mit Vesuv, 1875 sold for CHF 16,200.00 (€ 10,904.36) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot View Along The Southern Italian Coast sold at auction in January 2007 with the realized price of USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,694.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann erzielte im Dezember 2008 bei Christies in Genf einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Swiss Art wurde die Arbeit Neapel mit Vesuv, 1875 für CHF 16.200,00 (€ 10.904,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 8.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit View Along The Southern Italian Coast im Januar 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 15.694,72).
