A top price for Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann - as previously expected
In January 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art, which included the work View Along The Southern Italian Coast by Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,694.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, View Along The Southern Italian Coast is the most expensive artwork by Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Januar 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Along The Southern Italian Coast von Johann-Rudolf Bühlmann zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 15.694,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
