In November 2016 VAN HAM held the auction Alte Kunst, which included the work Früchtestillleben mit Vogel by Johann Nepomuk Mayrhofer. Here, the estimate of EUR 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 4,515.00. Admittedly, works by Johann Nepomuk Mayrhofer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Grapes And Apples And A Crested Tit; Grapes And Peaches With A Blue Tit in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,689.34).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2016 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Alte Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Früchtestillleben mit Vogel von Johann Nepomuk Mayrhofer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 4.515,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johann Nepomuk Mayrhofer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Grapes And Apples And A Crested Tit; Grapes And Peaches With A Blue Tit im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.689,34).
