Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Fruit Still life, a pair. by Johann Nepomuk Mayrhofer for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 7,171.43). This price was achieved in the auction Important Winter Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann Nepomuk Mayrhofer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Grapes And Apples And A Crested Tit; Grapes And Peaches With A Blue Tit , which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,689.34).

Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fruit Still life, a pair. von Johann Nepomuk Mayrhofer für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 7.171,43) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Winter Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Johann Nepomuk Mayrhofer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life With Grapes And Apples And A Crested Tit; Grapes And Peaches With A Blue Tit beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.689,34) versteigert wurde.
