In the European Art auction, the work Behind The Ramparts changed hands for USD 40,000.00 (€ 33,619.10) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Behind The Ramparts is the most expensive artwork by Mari ten Kate that we have observed at auction so far.
