This artwork by Mari ten Kate achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in December this year. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work La pausa del cacciatore sold for EUR 700.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mari ten Kate achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Behind The Ramparts in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 33,619.10).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mari ten Kate erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wurde die Arbeit La pausa del cacciatore für EUR 700,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mari ten Kate erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Behind The Ramparts im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 33.619,10).
