Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jan Kupetzki achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in April last year. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work Man playing a recorder sold for GBP 12,750.00 (€ 15,203.92) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Kupetzki - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of Susanna Klaus, The Wife of The Artist, Half-Length, In A White Dess And Brown Shawl, Holding A Book In Her Right Hand, which sold at auction in November 2006 for EUR 57,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Kupetzki erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit Man playing a recorder für GBP 12.750,00 (€ 15.203,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Kupetzki mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of Susanna Klaus, The Wife of The Artist, Half-Length, In A White Dess And Brown Shawl, Holding A Book In Her Right Hand beobachtet, die im November 2006 für EUR 57.600,00 versteigert wurde.
