Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ice fishing at dusk by Johann Jungblut was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2002. The price achieved of EUR 4,112.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,600.00 – 5,500.00. Admittedly, works by Johann Jungblut have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter landscape at dusk with figures fishing on the ice in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 40,957.00 (€ 19,658.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ice fishing at dusk von Johann Jungblut kam im Januar 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.112,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.600,00 – 5.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johann Jungblut auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A winter landscape at dusk with figures fishing on the ice im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 40.957,00 (€ 19.658,01).
