Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction NINETEENTH CENTURY ART, which included the work Ice fishing at dusk by Johann Jungblut. The price achieved of EUR 8,225.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann Jungblut - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A winter landscape at dusk with figures fishing on the ice, which sold at auction in October 2000 for NLG 40,957.00 (€ 19,658.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion NINETEENTH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ice fishing at dusk von Johann Jungblut zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.225,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Johann Jungblut mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A winter landscape at dusk with figures fishing on the ice beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für NLG 40.957,00 (€ 19.658,01) versteigert wurde.
