Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Am Walensee mit Churfirsten (Blick von Mols) by Johann Jakob Biedermann was auctioned at Christies in Zurich in September 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 12,500.00 (€ 11,022.20) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Johann Jakob Biedermann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Schloss Salenstein Castle Of Salenstein in November 2007 with an auction result of CHF 157,000.00 (€ 94,693.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Am Walensee mit Churfirsten (Blick von Mols) von Johann Jakob Biedermann kam im September 2018 bei Christies in Zürich zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 12.500,00 (€ 11.022,20) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
