In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work German Blind Man'S Bluff sold for USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,871.78) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann Georg Meyer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sleeping beauty, which sold at auction in January 2008 for GBP 46,100.00 (€ 61,799.04).

Für andere Arbeiten von Johann Georg Meyer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sleeping beauty beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für GBP 46.100,00 (€ 61.799,04) versteigert wurde.
