The work Study of a greyhound by Johann Elias Ridinger was auctioned at Christies in London in June this year. It achieved a price of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,399.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johann Elias Ridinger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sixteen Scenes Of The Breaking And Schooling Of Horses in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 73,646.22).
