Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Johann Elias Ridinger could be acquired at Sothebys in London in July 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Drawings auction, the work A Swan Hunted By Hounds changed hands for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,824.82) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johann Elias Ridinger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sixteen Scenes Of The Breaking And Schooling Of Horses in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 73,646.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johann Elias Ridinger konnte im Juli 2014 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
