Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Stag Lying Under A Large Tree by Johann Elias Ridinger was sold in the Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection auction at Sothebys in London in July 2013. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,283.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johann Elias Ridinger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sixteen Scenes Of The Breaking And Schooling Of Horses in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 73,646.22).

Die Arbeit A Stag Lying Under A Large Tree von Johann Elias Ridinger wurde im Juli 2013 in der Auktion Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
