Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Deux Enfants À La Torche by Johann Conrad Seekatz was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in November 2020. The price achieved of EUR 4,940.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johann Conrad Seekatz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bäuerliche Szene vor einem Ziehbrunnen. Um 1765. in September 2006 with an auction result of CHF 177,500.00 (€ 111,883.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Deux Enfants À La Torche von Johann Conrad Seekatz kam im November 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.940,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johann Conrad Seekatz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bäuerliche Szene vor einem Ziehbrunnen. Um 1765. im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 177.500,00 (€ 111.883,62).
