A top price for Johann Balthasar Bullinger - as previously expected
The work Landschaft Mit Eremit by Johann Balthasar Bullinger was auctioned at Christies in Geneva in June 2001. The price achieved of CHF 4,700.00 (€ 3,086.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landschaft Mit Eremit is the most expensive artwork by Johann Balthasar Bullinger that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Landschaft Mit Eremit von Johann Balthasar Bullinger kam im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Genf zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 4.700,00 (€ 3.086,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Landschaft Mit Eremit das teuerste Kunstwerk von Johann Balthasar Bullinger, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
