Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Johan Vilhelm Gertner could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in May this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia (postponed) auction, the work Portrait of the Danish Golden Age poet and author Adam Oehlenschläger (1779–1850) in tailcoat with decorations changed hands for DKK 22,000.00 (€ 2,952.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johan Vilhelm Gertner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Danish boy With Curly Hair, which sold at auction in June 2017 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,405.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johan Vilhelm Gertner konnte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia (postponed) wechselte die Arbeit Portrait of the Danish Golden Age poet and author Adam Oehlenschläger (1779–1850) in tailcoat with decorations für DKK 22.000,00 (€ 2.952,88) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Johan Vilhelm Gertner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Danish boy With Curly Hair beobachtet, die im Juni 2017 für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.405,83) versteigert wurde.
