Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Working the land by Jan Thorn Prikker for EUR 1,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Thorn Prikker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 57,040.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Working the land von Jan Thorn Prikker für EUR 1.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Thorn Prikker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 57.040,00.
