Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Farmers and horses in a landscape by Jan Thorn Prikker was sold in the Pictures Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2007. The price achieved of EUR 2,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,800.00 – 2,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Thorn Prikker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 57,040.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Farmers and horses in a landscape von Jan Thorn Prikker wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.800,00 – 2.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Thorn Prikker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 57.040,00.
