Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Fra Palatinerhøjen Rom.” by Johan Rohde for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 268.29). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Johan Rohde have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Interiør med børn” in July this year with an auction result of DKK 17,000.00 (€ 2,280.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Fra Palatinerhøjen Rom.” von Johan Rohde für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 268,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johan Rohde auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Interiør med børn” im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 17.000,00 (€ 2.280,04).
