Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work “Acorn” by Johan Rohde. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 2,200.00 (€ 295.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Johan Rohde have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Interiør med børn” in July this year with an auction result of DKK 17,000.00 (€ 2,280.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit “Acorn” von Johan Rohde zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 2.200,00 (€ 295,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johan Rohde auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Interiør med børn” im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 17.000,00 (€ 2.280,04).
