Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Scenery from Christiansborg by Johan Rohde for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.18). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Rohde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Interiør med børn” in July this year with an auction result of DKK 17,000.00 (€ 2,280.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Scenery from Christiansborg von Johan Rohde für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Rohde erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Interiør med børn” im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 17.000,00 (€ 2.280,04).
