Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Extensive landscape with figures on a bridge by Johan Pietersz. Schoeff was sold in the Quality in Detail. The Juli and Andrew Wieg Collection auction at Sothebys in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 4,788.00 (€ 5,624.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johan Pietersz. Schoeff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An extensive wooded landscape with figures in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 29,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

The Juli and Andrew Wieg Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.788,00 (€ 5.624,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johan Pietersz. Schoeff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An extensive wooded landscape with figures im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 29.800,00.
