Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work View from Copenhagen Harbour by Johan Neumann for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.23). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Neumann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shipping off Copenhagen in December 2005 with an auction result of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,786.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit View from Copenhagen Harbour von Johan Neumann für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Neumann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shipping off Copenhagen im Dezember 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.786,77).
