Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Johan Neumann could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in January 2024 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Seascape with ships on the sea changed hands for DKK 1,000.00 (€ 873.97) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johan Neumann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shipping off Copenhagen, which sold at auction in December 2005 for GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,786.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johan Neumann konnte im Januar 2024 bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Seascape with ships on the sea für DKK 1.000,00 (€ 873,97) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Johan Neumann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shipping off Copenhagen beobachtet, die im Dezember 2005 für GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.786,77) versteigert wurde.
