Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Coastal view with fishermen dragging the catch ashore by Johan Neumann for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 1,310.96). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johan Neumann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shipping off Copenhagen, which sold at auction in December 2005 for GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,786.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Coastal view with fishermen dragging the catch ashore von Johan Neumann für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 1.310,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Johan Neumann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shipping off Copenhagen beobachtet, die im Dezember 2005 für GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.786,77) versteigert wurde.
