The work Ceremony by Mari ten Kate was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,889.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mari ten Kate achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Behind The Ramparts in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 33,619.10).

Die Arbeit Ceremony von Mari ten Kate kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.889,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mari ten Kate erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Behind The Ramparts im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 33.619,10).
