Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work "Vy af Waxholms fästning" by Johan Christian Berger for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 2,848.44). This price was achieved in the auction Important Winter Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johan Christian Berger - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View towards Skeppsholmen and Södermalm in Stockholm, which sold at auction in June 2021 for SEK 100,000.00 (€ 9,858.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Vy af Waxholms fästning" von Johan Christian Berger für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 2.848,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Winter Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Johan Christian Berger mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View towards Skeppsholmen and Södermalm in Stockholm beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für SEK 100.000,00 (€ 9.858,20) versteigert wurde.
