A top price for Joep Nicolas - as previously expected
In March 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work De Judaskus - The Judaskiss by Joep Nicolas. The price achieved of EUR 3,290.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,800.00 – 3,600.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, De Judaskus - The Judaskiss is the most expensive artwork by Joep Nicolas that we have observed at auctions so far.
