Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dionysos Karpios, C (unframed) by Joe Tilson was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 2,422.50 (€ 2,892.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Tilson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secret in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 197,000.00 (€ 236,464.29).

Die Arbeit Dionysos Karpios, C (unframed) von Joe Tilson wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.422,50 (€ 2.892,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
