Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art, which included the work Miskolc from the Ozone series, No. 16, 1992 by Joe Goode. The price achieved of USD 22,950.00 (€ 21,780.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joe Goode have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cloud-Photograph Triptych in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 203,000.00 (€ 160,753.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Miskolc from the Ozone series, No. 16, 1992 von Joe Goode zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.950,00 (€ 21.780,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joe Goode auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cloud-Photograph Triptych im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 203.000,00 (€ 160.753,88).
