Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Human Form) by Joe Bradley for USD 25,200.00 (€ 22,717.03). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War to Present at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Bradley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tres Hombres in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,913,274.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Human Form) von Joe Bradley für USD 25.200,00 (€ 22.717,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Bradley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tres Hombres im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.077.000,00 (€ 2.913.274,00).
