Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2006 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Joe Andoe for USD 2,400.00 (€ 1,880.29). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Joe Andoe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Horse Head) in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,866.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2006 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Joe Andoe für USD 2.400,00 (€ 1.880,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joe Andoe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Horse Head) im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 12.866,70).
