A top price for Jock McFadyen - as previously expected
The work Calton Hill Iv by Jock McFadyen was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,351.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calton Hill Iv is the most expensive artwork by Jock McFadyen that we have observed at auctions so far.
