Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Spanish preparing For The Corrida by Joaquín Agrasot y Juan. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,140.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joaquín Agrasot y Juan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Three Musketeers, which sold at auction in March 2001 for GBP 23,500.00 (€ 37,919.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish preparing For The Corrida von Joaquín Agrasot y Juan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.140,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Joaquín Agrasot y Juan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Three Musketeers beobachtet, die im März 2001 für GBP 23.500,00 (€ 37.919,60) versteigert wurde.
