Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Spanish preparing For The Corrida by Joaquín Agrasot y Juan. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,693.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Joaquín Agrasot y Juan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2001 the work The Three Musketeers was auctioned for GBP 23,500.00 (€ 37,919.60).

Im Dezember 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish preparing For The Corrida von Joaquín Agrasot y Juan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.693,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Joaquín Agrasot y Juan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2001 die Arbeit The Three Musketeers für GBP 23.500,00 (€ 37.919,60) versteigert.
