Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2012 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work Sleeping beauty by Joaquín Agrasot y Juan. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,882.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joaquín Agrasot y Juan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Three Musketeers in March 2001 with an auction result of GBP 23,500.00 (€ 37,919.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sleeping beauty von Joaquín Agrasot y Juan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.882,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joaquín Agrasot y Juan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Three Musketeers im März 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.500,00 (€ 37.919,60).
