Sold at the lower estimate price
In July 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work La Roca by Joan Ponç. The result of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,218.03) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Ponç achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composición verde in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 78,000.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Roca von Joan Ponç zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.218,03) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Ponç erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composición verde im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 78.000,00.
