Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chez Le Roi De Pologne : Ubu Roi, Planche Iii by Joan Miró was sold in the Œuvres sur Papier auction at Sothebys in Paris in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 150,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 162,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chez Le Roi De Pologne : Ubu Roi, Planche Iii von Joan Miró wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Œuvres sur Papier bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 162.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
