Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work My Life is Pointless by Joan Cornellà. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 13,860.00 (€ 1,660.92), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Cornellà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work CCTV (Orange) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 444,000.00 (€ 453,410.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit My Life is Pointless von Joan Cornellà zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 13.860,00 (€ 1.660,92) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Cornellà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit CCTV (Orange) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 444.000,00 (€ 453.410,87).
