Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bootyboop by Joan Cornellà was sold in the No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. It achieved a price of HKD 23,940.00 (€ 2,868.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Cornellà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work CCTV (Orange) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 444,000.00 (€ 453,410.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bootyboop von Joan Cornellà wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 23.940,00 (€ 2.868,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Cornellà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit CCTV (Orange) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 444.000,00 (€ 453.410,87).
